Vision and Direction
ARMA was founded to address a growing gap in the aerospace industry: the lack of an insurable pathway for mid-sized and small aerospace businesses. Today, aerospace insurance effectively serves only a narrow subset of operators, leaving many capable manufacturers and innovators without a clear use case or viable access to coverage.

ARMA exists to bridge that gap by creating a credible, insurance-relevant ecosystem that aligns modern aerospace operations with carrier expectations. Through standardized education, certification, and operational risk frameworks, ARMA professionalizes risk management across the aerospace sector, reduces information asymmetry between operators and insurers, and enables more accurate risk assessment. The result is a more transparent, insurable, and sustainable aerospace insurance market—one that evolves alongside new technologies rather than lagging behind them.

Over time, this insurable ecosystem will mature into a standardized, data-driven framework that carriers recognize, trust, and underwrite against. While this is a long-term vision, ARMA’s near-term focus is on improving transparency, education, and operational standardization—helping aerospace businesses clearly demonstrate risk discipline, strengthen their credibility with insurers, and position themselves more competitively when pursuing commercial and government contracts.
